Richard did an excellent job running a disco for a group of children with additional needs - he played exactly the right music for them, included lots of fun games and stories, took the time to get to know them and made sure everyone had a great time. Many of the parents present said how good he was and we hope to book him again!

Richard came and entertained 35+ 6 year olds (which may I say is no easy feat) and they all had an absolute blast, including their grownups! He kept them engaged, laughing and throwing some serious shapes on the dance floor. Richard joined in with the children, getting on the dance floor himself which is something I haven’t seen a DJ/entertainer do and the children LOVED it. My daughter has additional needs and Richard was so accommodating to any adaptations I needed, whether that be the music to be quieter, lights dimmer or changes with timings etc. He was professional from start to finish, that includes his booking process and follow up emails once the party was over. I cannot recommend him enough and hope to have another celebration soon so we can have him join us again.

The DJ did an amazing job creating a fun and lively atmosphere for the kids. The music selection was perfect—full of upbeat, age-appropriate songs that kept everyone dancing and engaged. They interacted so well with the children, making sure everyone felt included and had a great time.
Everything was handled so smoothly, from keeping the energy just right to ensuring the party flowed effortlessly. The sound was perfect—not too loud but enough to keep the excitement going. It was clear they love what they do, and their enthusiasm made the party even more special. We couldn’t have asked for better entertainment!

We booked Richard after popping into Exeter library (he was doing an event there) where we had an absolute blast! He didn't disappoint, was supposed punctual, helpful and pinpointed the best timings for our 5 year olds party. Highly recommended! Will be using him again for sure

We booked Richard for our daughter’s 9th birthday party. He helped transform a large, stark hall into a cosy disco space which was perfect for the small number of children. He kept them actively dancing and entertaining for up to 2 hours and the children were constantly smiling and engaged. He included every child there, and even the adults were persuaded onto the dance floor at the end. Richard is a consummate professional. He’s more than a DJ; he’s a party guru!

We were so glad we found Richard for our daughters 6th birthday party. Richard got all the kids involved and having a great time, the music was perfect and the lights were awesome. Richard was excellent with communication running up to the event and also during the event, ensure we were coordinated for food, cake home time etc. Feedback from other parents was that all the kids had an awesome time. I've been to a wedding and two parties that Richard has done and they were all fantastic! Really great song choices and his hosting at the birthday parties got every child and adult involved. He paid particular attention to make sure every child felt seen and included which I really appreciated.

Wow! Where do we start?! Maybe with Joshua’s own words ‘Best Party Ever!’
Richard did our sons 5th birthday party after having been to a swimming club disco that Richard did. Joshua loved it so much he didn’t stop talking about it, so we had to book for his party.
Richard made the booking process really smooth and kept us well informed at all stages and checking in for venue logistics, prizes and getting us to send over some of Joshua’s favourite songs to really tailor it to him.
On the day Richard ran through a plan of timings and how he would give us the nod for when the food and cake should be timed. This was really helpful to follow his guidance as he has extensive knowledge and it flowed perfectly. He also allowed us to have the flexibility to do things at our own timings if needed. It felt really stress free as we handed over the reins and just needed to pop out some food.
The party itself! Wow what a man Richard is being able to entertain 40 5 years olds (and their grown-ups). He has such a great manner enabling even the shyest of kids to be breakdancing and showing their best moves after a little while. He showed such a great rapport with all the children and boosted their confidence with some little prizes we provided. Richard ensured that all the children felt included, even their little siblings. It was great that he ventured out of the DJ booth to really interact with all the children and had so much energy. There was a great balance of dancing freely and dancing with games.
We had such and incredible afternoon and are so glad we booked for Joshua’s first big birthday party. It was stress free and everyone absolutely loved it! Thank you so much for creating lasting memories and such a wholesome afternoon.
