Our lawful bases for the collection and use of your data
Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information for research or archiving purposes:
- Legitimate interests – we’re collecting or using your information because it benefits you, our organisation or someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability.
Our legitimate interests are: - We use Google Analytics to collect information about how users interact with our website, including their browsing behaviour and location. This data is used to personalise user experience, improve our website, and display relevant advertising. You can opt-out of Google Analytics data collection by changing your Google Ads settings. We do not share personally identifiable information (PII) with Google Analytics or any other third parties.

We have access to your data within Google Analytics for two months by default. After that time, Google Analytics automatically deletes your data.

How the transfer complies with UK data protection law:
Google Analytics data can only be transferred when specific and rigorous privacy conditions are met. Google Analytics operates data centres globally, including in the United States, to maximise service speed and reliability. Before data is transferred to any servers in the United States, it is collected in local servers, where users’ IP addresses are anonymised (when the feature is enabled by customers).
